Amanda A. Taylor is a freelance writer, grant writer and editor. She has an extensive background in journalism, having worked in media for 10 years.
During her time as a reporter, she won two APME (Associated Press Managing Editors) awards for feature writing.
She graduated from the University of Texas – Pan American with a BA in English with emphasis in literature.
Her creative pursuits include freelance writing and grant writing for nonprofits, especially work in animal welfare. She is currently writing a children’s book series on the importance of animal cruelty awareness.
Amanda is an aspiring novelist and an avid blogger, journal keeper and stargazer.
